In the state of Nevada, Phlebotomists are required to obtain a CPT1 license. This license is obtained through participating in a state approved course (like ours!) comprising 40 hours of didactic training, 80 hours of externship training, performing 50 blood draws and 10 capillary sticks, and completion of a National Exam. Aspiring phlebotomists who complete these steps can apply for a CPT1 license.

In the state of Nevada, phlebotomists are much more likely to obtain employment with proof of successful blood draws and a national certification. Phlebotomy Training Specialists graduates will have both of these things and will be fully prepared to enter the Nevada workforce!
